Marianne Crosby graduated from Carlow University in PA, with a BA degree in Music Education. She did her graduate work at Duquesne University and Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, PA. She has performed at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, the Chatam Opera Company and the West Hills Symphony Band (near Pittsburgh). She taught choral and instrumental music in grades K through 12 for the Mount Lebanon, Upper St. Clair and Bethel Park School Districts in Pennsylvania. Marianne also taught music for special-needs children at Woodville State Hospital and at the Highland School. She considers these her most wonderful teaching experiences since she was the one most blessed. Marianne leads the One Generation Music Outreach Program which invites people of all ages to join them as singers or instrumentalists or both. They meet on Wednesdays for music making and dinner. Once a month they present the music for the regular worship service. | |||
