			Pamela Blackstone brings a wealth of experience and training to the position of Director of Music -- as well as an exuberant personality and style. If you are looking for a church home and a place to really enjoy singing, give us a visit. New choir members are always welcome. Dr. Blackstone received a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Kansas, a Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Missouri, Kansas City Conservatory of Music, and a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting from UCLA. Pamela has taught choral music in colleges and universities in Kansas, Missouri, Fort Smith Arkansas, Santa Ana and Los Angeles. For two years, Dr. Blackstone was also the assistant conductor of the Angeles Chorale in Westwood, CA. Pamela has worshipped in, and conducted at, Methodist churches in every state in which she has lived. She is also a certified yoga teacher and teaches group, private, corporate and senior yoga classes on the west side. She has also recently started her own photography business, Blackstone Photography (www.blackstonephotography.com), and photographs families, weddings, head shots, corporate work, advertising, and fine art. She currently shoots for the Santa Monica Mirror newspaper.
