		The Prayer Chain is an open group of members who pray for the needs of our membership, their families, neighbors and friends. We welcome new prayer members. If you would like to join our group, you have a choice of how to participate since there are two ways of communicating -- e-mail and telephone. Telephone Chain 1. After being called, phone the next person in line, and if not home, go to the following person on the list. It is all right to leave a message on phone answering machine. It is important to get the message through even if all the members do not get it. They may be away for the day or the week. It is essential to reach all that are available. 2. Briefly give the name of the person/family, the need, including relevant spiritual, physical, or emotional aspects. The prayer is the important message. 3. Have prayer partner repeat the prayer need back so that you know that it is clear to them. It is a good idea to write down the message. E-mail Prayer requests are put on the e-mail prayer chain.
