Wonderful Wednesdays

St. Paul's UMC in Tarzana traditionally has held a cook-out every Wednesday evening in August, which they called Wonderful Wednesdays. They brought this tradition to First Church Canoga Park this summer. Members from St. Paul's, St. John's and First Church enjoyed remarkably pleasant August evenings on the church lawn. Chefs Jim Reimers and Tim O'Connor cooked up burgers and hot dogs and a committee prepared the fixings. The four cook-outs provided a pleasant informal chance for the members at the three churches to become better acquainted.
